3M Boer Goats is located in Central Kansas, just a few miles from the college community of Sterling, or 80 miles northwest of Wichita. My husband and I raise registered fullblood and percentage Boer goats on a small farm setting of 17 acres. Growing up I fondly remember my parents always having at least one milk goat or two that supplies milk for us kids. Dad and Mom sold goat milk for 75 cents a quart in the glass bottles, with the paper caps. My husband Gary and I raised registered Suffolk sheep, llamas, Angora goats, and Nubian goats in succession, for a few years.

Then, I had a good friend tell me one day, that I really needed to look into the Boer goats. I was aware of this breed, since we had been up in Nebraska at a llama sale, and being right at the time, when the boer goats were just starting to come into the U.S. At this particular sale, we saw surrogate Does (some Nubian and some Angora) bringing a hefty sum of money. It was not until 1997,that we actually bought our first fullblood boer buck, crossed him with some of our registered Nubians.

So since that time, we have been working hard to try and develope a quality fullblood boer, that is solid and meaty and colorful. We have since sold off all of our Boer Cross goats, Angoras, Nubians, and sheep, but still have a few llamas. We are now concentrating on combinations of fullblood traditional, solid red, & solid black & Polk-a-Dot/spotted/dapple boer goats. With limited browsing our goats are supplemented year round with hay and grain.

Raising these goats has been a labor of love, and Christmas all over again with each pending birth, we anxiously await to see what color we get and watch them grow. We have been using solid black Fullblood boer bucks, that came from Little League Ranch since 2000, which has helped us in our quest to continue to breed with in those bloodlines that will consistently produce black colored Boer offspring generation after generation. In addition, we are using quality traditonal, solid red, solid black, black spotted Boer bucks & Does from such bloodlines as, Major League, Hershey's Coal Black,Jet Black's Lignite, SCS Aslan's Onyx, Studley Dudley, EGGs, Powell/Holman,HMR Sumo Ennobled, Ubora Ennobled, XS Scatman, Kaptein Ennobled, Rooster Ennobled, Arapaho P03, Nico Botha Highlander,CODI/PCI Genetics,Logan Hill Phantom Of The Farm spotted genetics; just to name a few.We manage a Fullblood registered herd with ABGA & IBGA.

We usually start kidding in the fall months and on through the winter into the very early Spring. If you are looking for Boer Goats for sale in Kansas, please contact us.
